From November 29 to December 6, Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a familiarization trip for representatives of 14 tourism companies from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

As part of the visit, B2B (business-to-business) meetings were held with approximately 35 local tourism companies to foster bilateral relations and potential collaborations.

During their stay, the delegation explored Baku’s key tourist attractions, as well as the Gabala and Sheki regions, gaining firsthand experience of Azerbaijan’s cultural, historical, and nature-based tourism offerings.

In the January-November 2024 period, a total of 25,599 visitors from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland traveled to Azerbaijan, reflecting a 26% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
